Created from a dream and a love for the lagom lifestyle, Abbey is building her life around making homes beautiful and functional. What started as a simple travels to Sweden with her family has grown into a business that combines Abbey’s creative designs with the desires of a well lived in and functional home.

Abbey has garnered connections and vendors from around the world who she now calls friends. As a pioneer of the white-wall, laid back California aesthetic, Abbey’s eclectic design approach and affinity for found objects has made her stand out against others.

She has a bit of California eclectic in all of her projects, but craves a design challenge and opportunities to show off her ever-evolving style. No matter what the style she is asked to create, each space designed by Abbey feels cozy, eclectic, and unique.

Today Lagom Loft provides designs for both small and large scale residences. Abbey and her team work with architects and contractors to bring the distinct visions seen in her work, on her blog and in her retail Shoppe, to life. Light filled rooms, colorful textiles, natural elements, earthy textures, and brushed metals, are the elements that define and can always distinguish a Lagom Loft designed home.

Abbey currently lives in Granville, Ohio with her husband Coleman and their son Trevor, and pups Bella and Charlie.
